Hello all,
I'm using windows 7 with NVDA at work, and am hoping to use windows fax and scan to convert scanned pdf's to readable text. I recognize that there are other OCR programs out there that are specifically taylored to visually impaired users, but since most of the ones I've used require files to be submitted electronically, this won't work with my confidentiality requirements.
Thus far, I haven't had any luck with NVDA actually reading the buttons for converting said files on windows fax and scan, but it is highly likely that this has more to do with my lack of familiarity with both windows 7 and NVDA, so wanted to check with others. Thoughts about its functionality?
